The Institute provides training in entrepreneurship for the students in Industrial Business and as well as for students coming from other majors since autumn of 1994. The total number of students trained amounts at 600 people with certain variances by years. The main element of the training is development of business plans or projects that have to be defended publicly. Between 10 and 15 per cent of the students who have developed business plans through the training had started up own businesses.

Besides training of the students in “Basis of Entrepreneurship” and “Small Business Management”, the Institute is involved in designing and organising courses addressed to the number of target groups of trainees as follows:

• Starting entrepreneurs – providing of basic economic knowledge, starting-up the business (the preparation and presentation of business plan);
• Entrepreneurs and business owners (partners). Owners and managers of growth oriented companies are also trained in the Centre;
• Intrapreneurs in large companies – managing directors, marketing managers, R&D and human resource managers – the engines of the corporate development.
